Churching and our First Day of Church

Virginia Anastasia Stewart was churched on October 2, 2010.

Here are a few videos and pictures that we had taken during the churching.

The next day we had our first day of full church service.  If I recall correctly, we were only 30 minutes late, which we have since realized is pretty much a success.

Virginia seems to really like church and doesn't really fuss a lot.  She especially likes when the choir sings.

Our First Outing to Strawberry Patch Park

After about a month of being cooped up in the house, Anna Kathryn and I decided to brave a walk in the park.

I decided that Virginia and I would dress alike for our outing (as you can see Charlie is a little jealous of Virginia).

We loaded up the stroller and Virginia and headed for the park.  Hear is a short video of us in the park.

We ran into another proud parent while we were on our stroll.

By the end of walk, Virginia was fast asleep.

SUCCESS!!!

It's Been a While ...

... but as those of you with kids know, a while goes by VERY quick!


I tried to keep up on pictures and events and videos and what not, but it was hard enough remembering to take the cameras places and then even harder to remember to use them.

I am going to attempt to catch us up a little, and I am going to also attempt to post pictures in chronological order (no guarantees there).

Virginia's 1 Month Photo Shoot

Coming home from the hospital with Virginia

Here are some pics of Virginia getting ready for her trip home from the hospital and some pictures with her Mommy waiting for the nurse to get to the room to take them downstairs.

I'm not very good at putting on hats apparently -- the white hat was apparently on sideways (as I was later informed).  I still think she looks cute!

Virginia Anastasia Stewart enters the world!!!

Virginia Anastasia Stewart said hello to the world today, August 18, 2010 at 6:18 p.m.  She weighed 7 lbs, 4.8 oz and measured 20.25" long.

Both Virginia and Anna Kathryn are doing great.

Here are some pictures of Virginia right after she was born (except for the first one -- that is Anna Kathryn bright and early in the morning before anything began).

Presenting "Baby Girl" Stewart's finished room!!!

Now all we need is "Baby Girl"; we are eagerly awaiting Wednesday.  Check back then to get updates and her name (until then the first and middle initials have been removed from the wall where the "S" is).
